Genshin Builds does not use analytics, visitor tracking, or third-party advertisements. We have no plans to introduce any of them. We do not collect browsing activity or build visitor profiles.

The preferences we save stay on your device and are not sent to us. They use your browser's local storage and session storage, rather than cookies or its file cache:

• Sorting preferences: your selected sort order for the character, weapon, and artifact lists is saved separately in local storage so it can be restored on your next visit.

• Search shortcut banner setting: if you disable the banner in the search settings, local storage remembers that choice across visits.

• Temporary banner dismissal: closing the search shortcut banner saves a session storage setting for the current tab's session.

• Your feedback: GitHub issue links returned when you submit feedback are saved in local storage so you can find them on the Your feedback page. Only the issue links are saved in this history; it stays in this browser and is not synced between devices. Clearing it does not delete the GitHub issues.

You can reset these preferences by clearing this site's storage in your browser settings. Clearing only cached files may not remove them.

Feedback is optional and is an exception to browser-only storage. When you submit the form, it sends your message, feedback category, page URL (the current page by default), language, and any Discord username you choose to provide to our feedback endpoint. The feedback is used to create a GitHub issue, including those details.

The feedback form uses Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection when configured. It loads when you open the form. During submission, the server sends the verification token and your IP address, when available, to Cloudflare for verification. This is spam protection, not analytics or advertising.
