Wriothesley can use the Mono Cryo and Freeze teams to benefit from Cryo resonance. However, as Wriothesley's Charged Attack shatters, Freeze is not extremely consistent. Mono Cryo removes the Freeze aspect in order to slot another Cryo support.

Wriothesley as a Stellar-Conduct DPS uses his enhanced Normal Attack and Charged Attack to deal Stellar-Conduct DMG. In this role, he is played with a character that can enable the Stellar Glimmer reactions (i.e. Odette, Cryo Traveler) so he can fully take advantage of his Witch's Revelation Passive.

As he only gets his enhanced Charged Attack when he is under 60% HP, it is strongly discouraged to play Wriothesley with a healer.

CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG: A CRIT DMG circlet is usually preferred to a CRIT Rate one due to the external CRIT Rate buffs that Wriothesley can receive (+16% with (4), +15% with Cryo resonance). However, when using a weapon with a second attribute other than CRIT Rate, a CRIT Rate circlet can be considered as long as the crit ratio stays close to 1:2.
